I believe that there should be nothing standing in the way of two loving people who want to spend the rest of their lives together. Your ceremony will be afforded the dignity, respect, and open-mindedness it deserves, regardless of your age, race, or sexual orientation.

In my other life, I'm a secondary teacher with both undergraduate and graduate degrees in English. I understand what a difference just the right words make, and I am available to help you to craft vows that convey your love and devotion to one another.

Packages and Pricing

I used to have all kinds of different packages and pricing options, but I found that, regardless of how unique each ceremony was, most people wanted pretty much the same experience when it came to planning everything out. With that in mind, I streamlined my pricing, and the results are as follows. If you would like to have multiple meetings before the ceremony or if you have any special requests that are beyond my normal services, additional fees may be assessed.

The Basics

$350

This includes an initial consultation to determine whether you feel I would be a good fit for your wedding, travel fees, sharing sample scripts via email, officiating the ceremony, and filing the completed license at City Hall.

The Basics + Rehearsal

$425

This includes all of the above, and also a rehearsal before the wedding.

Payment may be in the form of cash, personal check, or credit card. Payment will be expected on the day the ceremony is performed.

The Parts of the Wedding Ceremony

Many of the couples I meet with begin the process of designing their ceremony with almost no idea of what belongs in one and in what order the pieces should go. With that in mind, I've made a quick "cheat sheet" so that you'll know what to expect when we start planning your ceremony. It's important to remember that these are just guidelines - in reality, your wedding can be whatever you want it to be. However, this is a good place to start.

It's not the entire ceremony, but it provides a great example of what your wedding could feel like.
