Does My Ceremony Have to Be Religious?

One of the beautiful things about my having been ordained by American Marriage Ministries is that they are not affiliated with any one church, and so your ceremony is not tied to one religion, or any religion for that matter. I have performed weddings that have been deeply religious in nature and I have performed others that have featured no reference to God or to any higher power at all.  

The wedding service is broken down into seven essential parts, and when we design your ceremony you can decide how much spirituality you would like to include in each section, if any.  You may choose to include a short prayer after the invocation, and then no mention of religion at all over the rest of the service,  You may elect to have references to God during your vows and during your invocation, but nowhere else.  Or you may choose to have your beliefs play a major role in all aspects of your service. The decision is entirely up to you, and I will support you completely no matter which path you take.
